About Japan Stores:

Japan-Stores.com is a website dedicated to the promotion of Japan-related products and services to a worldwide market. We allow qualified merchants the ability offer their goods at no cost. Japan-Stores.com does not sell anything, it provides the platform for others to use.

As the owner of Japan-101.com, the idea for Japan-Stores was born after receiving many emails from visitors seeking Japan-related products and services. Some of these can be found through advertisers on Japan-101, many are more difficult to locate. I know of many small and medium sized companies offering a great variety of items from Japan and by consolidating resources, Japan-Stores can offer many hard-to-find items under one roof.

Funding for this project is primarily from advertising. Merchants are not charged any fees. This allows small and medium sized companies with limited budgets the ability to show their wares and provides visitors with access to truly unique items not found elsewhere.

How it works:

Qualified merchants are allotted one store where they may upload photos and information for up to 1,000 items. Each item contains a link to that merchant's website where details on how to purchase the item can be found. Merchants are responsible for managing their own stores and are allowed full privileges to add and remove items through a simple browser interface.

Why should I open a store?

1. There is no cost. Japan-Stores is free to join.
2. Increase your web presence and new customer exposure.
3. Increase your search engine ranking by providing text links back to your site. Add up to 1000 items and links using the text of your choosing.
